Five Sacred Phrases

Five Sacred Phrases

Healing happens when I use my words carefully and intentionally.

Words matter.

My entire life, I've had a love/hate relationship with words.

From the time I was young, I was a voracious reader who would, in a moment of downtime (or sometimes in a moment when I should be doing something else) devour every book, magazine article, or shampoo ingredient bottle (for those who know, you know) I could.

I also loved scribbling down thoughts, and have found that in my efforts to make words do what I want them to, I lean more towards the "hate" side of the spectrum when they just won't behave (or, worse yet, when my computer glitches and the entire thoughtful article I'd just finished gets--deleted. True story).

Today, I want to teach you five sacred phrases whose words have helped heal me on multiple levels.

The ancient Hawaiian reconciliation practice of Ho'ponopono is both powerful and simple, and I've seen miracles come when these five phrases are said out loud:

1. I'm sorry

2. I forgive you

3. Will you forgive me?

4. Thank you

5. I love you

I have seen clients experience powerful breakthroughs when expressing these statements to past versions of themselves, to parts of their bodies, to their Heavenly Parents, or to others (whether in person or by proxy).

I was reminded of their power today, which is why I wanted to share them with you, Dear Reader.

I invite you to use them, even if they don't feel real yet, and see what happens.

Miracles come when words are used intentionally.

Love,

Jewel
